Eight to ten bunnies, a handler, a fenced pen and top hats — set up in your garden across Joburg and Pretoria.

What we bring

A 2 x 1m fenced pen holding 8 to 10 bunnies, ten kids' chairs, top hats and bunny food. There's always a handler supervising.

The hats are the trick, and they're not decoration. Children sit on the chairs and hold a bunny inside a top hat — the bunny feels secure and settles, and nobody gets scratched. It's the difference between a lovely calm activity and a chaotic one.

Prices

R1,070 for the first hour. R570 for every extra hour.

What you need to have ready

A shady spot, because bunnies overheat, and a shaded corner keeps them calm, which makes the whole experience gentle. Flat ground and access for the handler to carry the pen in. If you have pets, please put them away.

What ages is it for?

From about two upwards. The very small ones love it most.

How many bunnies come?

Eight to ten, in a fenced pen with a handler.

Do the children hold them?

Yes — sitting on chairs, with the bunny in a top hat so nobody gets scratched.

How long should I book?

An hour works for most parties. Two if you have a big group or want it running alongside other activities.

Face painting or a magic show. Half the children pet while half get painted, then they swap — nobody queues and everybody's busy. Bunnies also pair naturally with our farmyard if you want more animals.
